Sveta Shvedenkova assembled her knowledge from many great artists and designers from all around the world and it helped her to create her own style. With more than 15 years of experience in floral design and mixed-media art, Sveta likes to share her passion to multifaceted artistic forms through workshops. As a teacher, she had students from all walks of life. And with practice, being open minded and believing in themselves they have opened their own artistic stores and some were able to have their own Personal Exhibition in Art Galleries.
Sveta began her career as a professional floral designer and mixed media artist just before graduation from Novosibirsk College of Arts. She has enhanced her knowledge and is updated through regular participation in seminars and projects of the leading masters in Germany, Belgium, Japan etc. Since then her artworks were presented at several personal exhibitions and studio tours and also published in Latvian, Russian, Taiwanese and Canadian magazines and in the Belgian book “International Annual Floral Art”. As a professional floral designer, she demonstrated her works at Floral Runways in Taiwan, Germany and Canada. She participated in competitions and kept many awards. She held the “Flowers Canada Toronto Chapter Gold Cup” for two years.
Sveta moved with her family to Canada in 2005 and soon started a new education. In spite of upgrading her knowledge with a Fashion Design diploma, the floral design is always her main passion. With love to flowers, she passed through all necessary exams and became a member of Canadian Academy of Floral Art (CAFA).
In her “Crow in White” creative studio, Sveta combines all her directions of creativity. Her background in Theatrical Set Decoration and Costume Design shines through as soon as you walk through the door of the store. Visitors to the studio are embraced by colour and light; delightful displays of wares draw customers into the building to discover the treasures waiting to adorn your home or body including her own artworks and line of Designer Clothing.
